Membership Has Its Benefits
Access the information and services you need to succeed at achieving your organization's health and safety goals.
Please see below for examples of the wide range of personal and professional benefits available to you as a member of SASM.
Saskatchewan firms that have an active Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) account within the M41, M72, M91 or M94 rate codes are automatic members of SASM. Companies in these rate codes contribute to SASM through a levy on their WCB premiums based on their payroll.
Non-member organizations can access SASM’s training and services at non-member rates. Any organization can arrange for training or services at your particular site by contacting SASM at least 45 days in advance.
Any manufacturing firm and most other firms can join SASM. The average annual membership cost in 2017 is approximately $100 per worker. The return on investment is significant.
Associate Members receive online and regional training at no additional charge, and on-site training at a reduced rate. Auditing and all other services are not included with this membership.
